All about the Garmin Nuvi 200 GPS

The Garmin 200 is the most basic model Nuvi. It offers the fewest features (and the lowest price), and is a good device to buy if you want to know where you are, where you’re going, and how to get there, without any special features or other undue distractions.

Like all 200-series models, the Nuvi 200 has a 5 hour maximum battery life; voiced turn prompts; preloaded maps of the lower 48 United States, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico; and a picture viewer.

It does not feature wireless Bluetooth technology, an mp3 player, an FM receiver, or MSN Direct capability.

The unit is small, with a screen resolution of 320×240, 3 and a half inches diagonal. (The Nuvi 200W, on the other hand, is the exact same as the 200, but with a widescreen.)
